Short and Sweet

We pulled bulls out of our heifers this morning. We are doing a 30 day breed on our heifers. Short and sweet and only catch the most fertile. These young ladies get pushed pretty hard to make sure we only keep the most fertile, easy keepers in our herd. The others fall out of our program and get transferred to another enterprise.

That Carmichael/Wedge Tent bull there did NOT want to leave his ladies!

Oh, and I wore jeans for this adventure and my legs nearly suffocated. If you go leggings/joggers, you can never go back. #iykyk 

Oh, and also, apparently we have a new "pet" named Horny.  Eight year olds are a trip!
