The "Why"

I want to take a second to share the reason behind what I do....the "why" of this business. I'm always sharing the "what", but I don't always share the "why", and I think it's important for you all to understand the deeper purpose behind this work and these events you keep seeing from my page.
I run this business because I believe in building something that makes a difference: for my family, for other families, and for myself. I want my kids to grow up watching their mom dream big and turn that dream into something valuable. Yes, part of my “why” is practical. It’s a way to contribute financially to our family, to build something sustainable that aligns with our values. But it’s also personal. It’s a way to pay forward what I’ve learned, to give others what I wish I’d had during the hard seasons. And if I’m being completely honest, it’s also to prove to myself that I can. That I’m capable of building something from the ground up. That I can create something meaningful, lasting, and mine.
This business is a place where my love for family, leadership, and growth aligns with my desire to build a life that makes a difference.
I believe there is a need for women's events, and also a need for ranch conferences dealing with the people part. I recognize those needs and create an event that provides an opportunity for myself and others to find a solution and better our lives.
My plan (as of now, though it changes daily ) is to continue to host three events each year:
The Laugh & Leisure Women’s Retreat - held each spring to remind women that self-care, laughter, and connection are the fuel for a life well lived.
The Ranch Leadership & Dynamics Conference - held each fall to help ranching families strengthen the people part of ranching: the communication, leadership, and teamwork that keep both relationships and operations healthy.
A pop-up virtual event somewhere in between - like the Harmonize Your Home event I held a few weeks ago.
Through these events, I aim to build stronger families, better leaders, and healthier people, all while working on all these things myself. I want to create opportunities to improve how we show up at home, on the ranch, and in life. And what better way to do that than right beside others who are wanting the same?!
So there you have it. That’s my why. It's equal parts mission and growth for me. I am serving others while learning right alongside them!
I hope you are enjoying this journey with me, and will hopefully be able to join me at one of my events in the future!
