Upcoming In-Person Conference

I can hardly put into words how excited I am about the next conference I'm hosting. Yes, ranching is about cattle, land, and markets, but more than anything, it’s about people. At the heart of everything that happens on a ranch is the dynamics of the people who run it. And if you’ve ever had conflict on your family ranch, you know how stressful and miserable that can feel.
At some point in time, most of us have been stuck in tough conversations, family disagreements, or decisions where it seems like there’s no good answer. Some of you are sitting in that lull right now, feeling like every part of your life is on hold until a resolution can be made. It can feel very heavy. But there is a way forward. And no, it's not just sweeping it under the rug and plugging on. There are tools, strategies, and perspectives that can ease the tension and help families work through these struggles.
That’s why this conference is so near and dear to my heart. Ranch Leadership & Dynamics: The People Part of Family Ranching is about addressing the human side of ranching: the part that doesn’t get talked about much, but is the root of every decision we make.
I'm bringing in the big dogs with this speaker lineup - people who understand both ranching and human dynamics, because, after all, “every problem is a people problem.” If you’ve ever felt like the hardest part of your operation is working with the people you love most, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to stay stuck there.
This event feels like offering a big hug to ranch families everywhere, and I can’t wait to see the breakthroughs that come from it.
